The "Spider-Man" reboot is set to be out in theatres by 2017 and the director for the said film was originally Drew Goddard. However, in the latest news regarding "Spider-Man" reboot, other directors' names were revealed and rumors started to surface tha the upcoming film will be divided into four movies.
The directors, whose names were shortlisted for the "Spider-Man" reboot, include Jason Moore, who directed "Pitch Perfect," Jonathan Levine, the man behind "Warm Bodies," Ted Melfi of "St. Vincent," Jared Hess, who directed "Nacho Libre," and the duo John Francis Daley and Jonathan M. Goldstein, who did "Vacation."
It was also noted in a statement that Marvel wants the movie to have a "John Hughes" tone, such as the humor, but with all the elements of superhero movies.
Rumors about the Spider-Man Movie Reboot is said to be a four-part movie as Kevin Feige of Marvel Studios and Amy Pascal of Sony wanted to take on each year of the life of protagonist Peter Parker. There has been no announcement yet regarding the truth in the said report.
The reboot will reportedly be called "Spider-Man: The New Avenger" and will be produced by Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures. The Peter Parker for this movie has not been chosen yet but according to the latest updates of the "Spider-Man" reboot, Marvel and Sony are choosing between their two frontrunners namely Asa Butterfield and Tom Holland.
The solo movie that will be shown by 2017 will focus on Spider-Man as a younger character. He will be in high school for most of the movie but no other spoilers have been revealed. However, next week, more announcements about the "Spider-Man" reboot will be announced. The reboot of this film will be produced by Phil Lord and Chris Miller.
