Marvel Studios continues with its brilliant marketing campaign onslaught. With Avengers: Age of Ultron already in the history books for its epic opening weekend, what comes next after July 2015's Ant-Man is Captain America: Civil War.
The third installment for Captain America will be poles apart from its previous story lines due to a government legislation limiting superhuman activities. Captain America (Chris Evans) and Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), will now have a big showdown of opposing egos in the thirteenth run of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The other day, netizens already had a much closer glimpse of Tony Stark's 'Bleeding Edge' armor concept art. Marvel Studios in the essence of fair play for the 'Star-Spangled Avenger' now brings to light his 'tweaked' and more streamlined uniform, still via an Instagram post from Latino Reviews' Umberto Gonzales.
Meanwhile, 'Iron Man 4' may still be in developmental limbo for the next couple of years as there has been no official word from Marvel Studios. Nevertheless, fans are reassured that the billionaire playboy/philantrophist will be more than just visible in his appearances in 'Guardians of the Galaxy 2', 'Captain Marvel' and 'Black Panther', as these cameo roles are all a future build-up for the premise of future movie.
In other Captain America: Civil War news, Emily VanCamp of Revenge fame will also be reprising her role as Agent 13/Kate in Captain America: Civil. VanCamp's role still has not been fully confirmed although the 28-year-old actress was then a budding love interest of Evans with a secret agenda in the 2014 prequel.
Captain America: Civil War has already begun shooting last April at Pinewood Atlanta Studios in Georgia. Puerto Rico and Berlin will also be locations set for principal photography. The movie is scheduled to be released in May 6, 2016.
