Charlie Hunnam Says There is No Excuse for Keeping Yourself Fit and Healthy

By

Charlie Hunnam has one of the hottest bodies in Hollywood next to Brad Pitt, Chris Hemsworth and a long list of actors. While some people may think that achieving Hunnam's body is pretty much closer to a dream than reality, the 35-year-old actor said that there is no excuse for keeping yourself fit and healthy.

Charlie Hunnam started acting at an early age with his breakthrough role in UK's version of "Queer as Folk" next to "Game of Thrones" star Aiden Gillan. Hunnam became famous for his badass biker role as Jax Teller in the FX series, "Sons of Anarchy." While some people may say that looking great on screen is a must for every Hollywood actor and actress, Hunnam believes that not having the time to stay fit is not an excuse.

The "Pacific Rim" actor revealed that he found it "slightly irritating" whenever people thought that all an actor has to do is look good in front of the cameras. Hunnam said that he films for "Sons of Anarchy" 15 hours a day, but he still finds time to allot two and a half hours for working out.

"If you want to be super-fit and look ripped then you find the time no matter what," Charlie Hunnam revealed to GQ Magazine.

The actor also recounted the time when director Guillermo del Toro called him to audition for the lead role in "Pacific Rim." Hunnam said that del Toro asked him to look "like a man capable of saving the world." He admitted that he felt bad after hearing that from del Toro because Brad Pitt "ruined" that look for everyone after appearing shirtless in the movie, "Fight Club."

Meanwhile, Hunnam is currently filming for his upcoming movie, "Knights of the Round Table: King Arthur." Hunnam will star alongside Aidan Gillen, Jude Law, Eric Bana, Poppy Delevingne, Uther Pendragon and Astrid Berges-Frisbey, IB Times reported.

Guy Ritchie will be directing and producing the film from a script written by Joby Harold. Lionel Wigram, Tory Tunnell and Akiva Goldman are co-producing the Warner Bros. and Village Roadshow film.

"Knights of the Round Table: King Arthur" will be released on July 22, 2016.
