20th Century Fox and MGM have joined forces to produce the remake of the classic 1982 horror film "Poltergeist" and they have recently released a teaser clip and an infographic advertisement ahead of the May 22 release of the said movie.
The remake of the movie "Poltergeist" will be about the classic tale of a family from a suburban home that is haunted by supernatural and evil forces. The film was done by Sam Raimi, the acclaimed filmmaker of "Spider-Man," "The Grudge," and "Evil Dead" together with director Gil Kenan who directed "Monster House."
The "Poltergeist" remake is about the attacks of the evil forces and their escalated apparitions. The youngest daughter of the family will be held captive by these forces and they should work together in order to save her or she will be banished forever.
The remake of the movie was written by David Lindsay-Abaire and it includes well-known actors and actresses such as Sam Rockwell, Rosemarie DeWitt, Saxon Sharbino, Jared Harris and Jane Adams. The child actress who will be playing the youngest daughter, Madison, is eight-year-old Kennedi Clements.
The recently released promotional video of the Poltergeist movie remake shows the family talking to Jane Adams, who plays the character of Dr. Claire Adams. The family is being informed of the poltergeist forces in their house that is not as safe as other ghosts or supernatural forces people know of. Dr. Claire Adams warns them that these forces lash out on people and they cannot be driven away easily.
