UBS Wealth Management Americas has hired former Morgan Standley adviser Henry Berkley to join its Madison Avenue office in Manhattan.
Berkley has been in the advising industry for a very long time and he used to work for Citigroup before joining the largest U.S. brokerage, Morgan Stanley Wealth Management.
Considered as the 4th largest brokerage in the country, UBS competes with rivals Wells Fargo Advisors, Bank of America Corp's Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley in recruiting top advisers.
Morgan Stanley did not comment on Berkley's departure but instead announced the recruitment of Nikesh Kadakia, Kirk Snyder and Joseph Pastore in California.
