Kristen Wiig is one funny lady and is known for her comical glory but she was recently scared out of her seat when she guested for the "Ellen DeGeneres Show" on May 7, Thursday.

Kristen Wiig was being asked about her role in the upcoming all-female reboot of "Ghostbusters" and Ellen DeGeneres asked her if she believed in ghosts. Wiig was hesitant at first but eventually shared that she did believe in ghosts but DeGeneres was not convinced. Wiig then noted that there are many kinds of ghosts and supernatural forces and that's when the "ghost" jumped out of a box that was beside the chair she was sitting at.

Wiig then gets a mini heart attack and screams out of terror from the sudden person coming out of the box. She then slowly gets up from her seat and eventually sits on the floor after DeGeneres pulled out her ghost prank.

The "Bridesmaids" actress tried to regain her composure from the ghost prank of Ellen DeGeneres while the host was laughing at Wiig's reaction. The "Ghostbusters" star for the all-female reboot then proceeded to get a few things of DeGeneres from her seat as she noted that because the host scared her, she gets to keep them. The crowd then cheered both for her reaction and the suave move of Wiig in order to get a memorabilia from her scary experience.

The 41-year-old will be starring in the Ghostbusters reboot of the 1984 classic film alongside Melissa McCarthy, Cecily Strong, Kate McKinnon, and Leslie Jones.

This is not the first time that DeGeneres pranked her guests on her show as she also pulled a prank on Scarlett Johnasson.

Wiig has been making rounds to promote the reboot of the "Ghostbusters" film and she is one of the many actresses who has been nominated for Emmys, Golden Globes, and an Oscar. Aside from the "Ghostbusters" reboot, she will also be starring in other movies such as "Zoolander 2," "Masterminds," and "Sausage Party."
