'Captain America: Civil War' Update: Antman, Vision, The Red Hulk joins the fight, which side will they choose?

Disney and Marvel recently announced that "Captain America: Civil War" has officially begun its production, and with it comes the final list of cast including the three newest additions to the new Avengers team: Antman, Vision and the Red Hulk.

It was announced on Thursday that the third Captain America franchise "Captain America: Civil War" has officially began filming, starting at Pinewood Studios in Atlanta, Georgia. Disney and Marvel has also revealed the movie's official cast.

Reprising his titular role, Chris Evans will be returning as the hero in red, blue and white. Joining him are Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, Anthony Mackie as Falcon, Elizabeth Olsen as Scarlet Witch, and Don Cheadle as War Machine.

Also returning to the film are Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes, Emily VanCamp as Agent Carter, and Frank Grillo as Crossbones.

However, they will not be the only ones suiting up for the upcoming "Captain America" sequel as three more was announced to join the squad for the first time.

After making his debut on July 2015, Paul Rudd will gear up once again as Ant Man alongside the avengers this 2016. Coming with him is "Avengers: Age of Ultron" newbie The Vision who will still be portrayed by Paul Bettany.

William Hurt of 2008's "The Incredible Hulk" is also set to return to the silver screen as General Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross in the upcoming "Captain America" sequel. Though his character became the Red Hulk in the comics, it is still not confirmed if his tranformation will also happen in the movie.

Daniel Bruhl and Martin Freeman will also appear in "Captain America: Civil War", though the details of their characters were not yet specified.

The film will pick up where the "Avengers: Age of Ultron" left off. With Rogers as the leader, the new team of the Avengers will continue to safeguard humanity from a new and nefarious villain. As the official synopsis says: "After another international incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability and a governing body to determine when to enlist the services of the team.The new status quo fractures the Avengers while they try to protect the world from a new and nefarious villain."

Louis D'Esposito, Alan Fine, Victoria Alonso, Patricia Whitcher, Nate Moore and Stan Lee serves as the executive producers of the film under the banner of Marvel Studios.

The hit comic book sequel "Captain America: Civil War" is directed by Joe and Anthony Russo and is set to hit cinemas on May 6, 2016.
