Kym Johnson and Robert Herjavec's relationship was complicated enough before the two Dancing With the Stars partners shared a big sloppy kiss in the middle of a live dance routine. But now the kiss is real, and the rumors about Johnson and Herjavec being a real-life couple have gotten even more heated than before.
During their performance in an episode of Dancing With the Stars that aired on May 4, the two went from having chemistry to straight-up kissing while dancing. The kiss was passionate and the audience went wild, but the couple's scores for their kiss-filled performance were only 33 and 29- which wasn't enough for them to stay on the show. The judges promptly gave Johnson and Herjavec the boot in that episode.
The two were obviously saddened by their loss. "I was very disappointed in the judges' scores," Herjavec explained. "I thought that for the last few weeks - it's never Kym, she's a great dancer like all the dancers - but I thought that the scoring was a little harsh and tough. So I was a little disappointed in that."
"I'm shocked we got this far," he continued. "It kind of sucks you in because the farther you get the farther you want to go, but I'm really proud of where we got to and it's been a great experience."
Yes, getting kicked off of Dancing With the Stars can't be a fun experience. But we wouldn't worry about this pair. Given that Herjavec just recently split with his wife Diane Plese, and that he's alluded to visiting Johnson at her home in Australia, it sounds like love might be in the air for these two former DWTS heavyweights. What do you think? Are Herjavec and Johnson destined to be a couple, or was that mid-dance makeout just a ploy to get a little extra buzz around their performance?
