During the recently concluded Comic-Con 2014, BioWare revealed the 2016 release of "Mass Effect 4" despite the game content's ongoing development process. In the conference, they also discussed about the game but just focused on its main character.
As of the moment, however, details were not yet elaborated or disclosed to the the fans and the public since the game is still being keenly developed and worked on. People are highly anticipating that in the upcoming E3 2015 Press Conference, BioWare will be finallly discussing about the gameplay.
"Mass Effect 4" is a role-playing game set in a third-person point of view, produced by BioWare and is released by Electronic Arts (EA). The game's storyline will most probably include flashbacks from Commander Shepherd's story, though there will be no connection with the previous chapters of the game series. It also features a vehicle called Mako, though it has a different design since it is a six-wheeled buggy. Still, there is no given platform for the highly-anticipated sci-fi game.
According to a video of BioWare during the Comic-Con, the game's main character wears N7 armor, a sign that they are part of the Human Special Forces. The suit bears a tinted glass helmet, so communication was made possible and BioWare wanted to appear a little bit mysterious, not wanting to expose any faces yet.
Though there were both male and female versions of that suit, only the male version comes with customization, which was a bandolier attached to the front, and is one of the add-on features of the team's options. According to them, it gives a boost to the character or the player's ammo.
BioWare still continues to release teasers, pictures, concept arts for the new game, leaving the fans to wait in anticipation. The game's narration will be looked forward to by players, since "Mass Effect 3" writer John Dombrow and also "Halo 4" writer Chris Schlerf were both given the job.
"Mass Effect 4" will be officially released next year, December 31, 2016.
