"The Following" Season 3 Episode 13 ends when Joe Carroll died on his execution day resulting to the team of Joe's enemy, Ryan Hardy, to eliminate the tech-genius Theo. Season 3 of Fox's hit series will end with a Double Episode this May 18. "The Following" Season 3 Episode 14, 15 will cap be the show's final season.
"The Following" will be a two-hour show that will be aired on Monday, May 11 at 8 P.M. A promotional clip was released regarding the upcoming episode s and it showed that Mike was held at gunpoint by the new enemy, Theo as the tech genius held Mike as a hostage.
Before the tension between Mike and Theo, Mike was seen asking Ryan if he would be able to forgive himself if ever Gwen or Max were killed. However, Ryan did not respond well as his reckless behavior took the best of him. Ryan is best known for not being his best self ever since Joe died.
Meanwhile, for the hostage-taking part of the two-part season finale, Ryan also took the foster-sister of Theo, Penny, as his hostage in hopes of getting Mike back. However, it is expected that at least one of the characters involved in the hostage taking crisis will not come out alive after the dramatic situation. It has not been revealed if Mike will be alive or if Ryan will be left alone once again.
This is the third and final season of "The Following" as FOX already announced that the show has been cancelled. It was rumored earlier that "The Following" has been having a declining number of viewer rating so it is speculated that this is the reason for the show's cancellation.
Kevin Bacon already took to Twitter on Friday to thank the fans of the show as he tweeted: "Big love to all of our loyal fans. It's been an honor to work for you. Sweat,tears, and lots of Blood! Enjoy the final four #THEFOLLOWING"
