The revamped supernatural origin story of Heroes is back this year on NBC with a new Thursday primetime slot coming this fall. Heroes Reborn will be airing on primetime television Thursday nights at 8pm as part of NBC's Fall lineup of 2015-2016. Original Heroes creator Tim Kring is set to spearhead the new series.
Heroes Reborn is set to begin again following the original plot of the original hit supernatural series about young adults struggling to cope with their newly discovered supernatural abilities. Original Heroes creator Tim Kring will be bringing the hit supernatural phenomenon television show to a new light with new characters new stories in the new installment Heroes Reborn.
NBC is thrilled that the 13-episode mini-series will be spearheaded by original creator Tim Kring. NBC Entertainment President Jennifer Salke states that the network believes that the time has come for another installment to the popular series. The show's impact was a major factor in the network's decision to produce another installment.
"We're thrilled that visionary creator Tim Kring was as excited about jumping back into this show as we were and we look forward to all the new textures and layers Tim plans to add to his original concept".
According to NBC, Heroes Reborn will be "shrouded in secrecy" until the show finally airs this fall on Thursday nights at 8pm, further hinting that original cast members will definitely make an appearance. Heroes Alum Jack Coleman and Masi Oka are set to reprise their roles, while new cast members Zachary Levi, Henry Zebrowski and Robbie Kay will be playing new characters. New characters will likely pop up before the Heroes Reborn Primetime premiere this fall.
The date of the premiere of Heroes Reborn has yet to be announced. Heroes Reborn will be aired this fall on NBC's primetime 8pm to 9pm timeslot for the network's 2015-2016 schedule.
