Soros Fund Management's former chief investment officer Keith Anderson has started looking for investors in the hope of raising $500 million up to $1 billion for his Anderson Global Marco fund.
Anderson has been taking steps for fundraising to collate investments for his own hedge fund, which he setup in New York.
He is also creating a management team to help him in drawing investors for the company. He has hired former vice chairman Douglas Paul at Credit Suisse, former coworker Christopher Wiegand at Soros and JP Morgan Chase and International Monetary Fund veteran Jon Lipsky.
Anderson left Soros after the company decided to transform into a family office. He worked for the company from 2008 to 2011.
