Stereophonics Announce New Album "Keep The Village Alive"; Lead Single "C'est La Vie" Music Video Revealed

Stereophonics have officially confirmed the details of their upcoming album "Keep The Village Alive" which is set to release this September. Along with this, the video of the band's newest single "C'est La Vie" was also revealed.

"Keep The Village Alive" will be the Welsh band's ninth studio LP following their 2013 album "Graffiti On The Train". It will also be their first album with their new drummer Jamie Morrison who took over Javier Weyler's spot back after completing "Graffiti On The Train" back in 2012.

The tracks of Stereophonics New Album were all written by lead singer Kelly Jones and were produced at ICP Studios in Brussels, Belgium and at Stylus Studios in London with the band's long-time collaborator Jim Lowe assisting with the production duties.

Lead track "C'est La Vie" precedes the album along with its music video which was directed by Jones with the help of cinematographer John Conroy (also worked on"Broadchurch" and "Luther"). The almost 5-minute video revealed by the band features Antonia Thomas, Aneurin Barnard and Mathew Aubrey.

Stereophonics, comprised of bassist Richard Jones, guitarist Adam Zindani and drummer Jamie Morrison, is already known as one of the top eight bands with with five consecutive UK number one albums alongside The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, ABBA, Genesis, Oasis, Blur and U2.

With over 10 million albums sold and 11 top ten singles in their twenty years of singing, the Welsh rocker band is hoping that the release of their newest album "Keep The Village Alive" will be as successful as their previous ones.

Last time around, the Stereophonics teamed up with Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood in London. Tom Jones also joined them as they sang a duet of "Mama Told Me Not To Come".

Meanwhile, Stereophonics is booked to play on V Festival this summer, together with Calvin Harris, Sam Smith, Kasabian and more. Catch them live in Weston Park, Staffordshire and Hylands Park, Essex on August 22 and 23.
