Dancing with the Stars (DWTS) Season 20's semi-final round had judges giving Hollywood scion Rumer Willis and veteran Noah Galloway the two lowest scores fuelling predictions either of them would get the boot during Tuesday's elimination night episode.
Bruce Willis' and Demi Moore's first-born Rumer and partner Valentin Chmerkovskiy danced the Viennese Waltz with a 50 Shades of Grey theme complete with the iconic necktie bondage play. Entertainment Tonight considered the dance as "hot, steamy and undeniably skillful, as well as a brilliant way to kick off the semi-finals" altough the couple netted only a 38/40 from the judges.
US army veteran Noah danced effortlessly with Sharna Burgess then got engaged to his girlfriend in front of the cameras right after the dance. Judges said it was the double-amputee soldier's best dance of the season but gave the couple only a 36/40.
The Wall Street Journal's Speak Easy however predicts Rumer or Glee star Riker Lynch leaving the series due to Noah's marriage proposal moment getting votes for the couple.
Riker and Allison Holker are actually in the leader boards after getting perfect 10s throughout the night although ET did not include the couple in any of its best-of-the-night-moments recap. Judges also kept telling them "it wouldn't be right to not have the finals without you" after the couple danced a routine that was "right on target...hardcore, uncompromising Contemporary."
Golden Derby predictions have Noah leading the choice for elimination, followed by Riker Lynch. The predictions polls consider Rumer leaving Dancing with the Stars Season 20 as a shocking elimination.
Russian-American champion gymnast Nastia Liukin and Derek Hough appeared to be the strongest shoe-in for the finals also earning a perfect 10 in last night's performance. The couple did not figure in the top three of elimination predictions although it did come in before Rumer in the derby polls.
Host Tom Bergeron announced a first for DWTS' 20 seasons - each of the four remaining couples has been No. 1 on a particular week in the current season. However, only 3 couples will move on to the Finals.
Dancing with the Stars Season 20 semi-finals results airs Tuesday night at 8pm on ABC.
