Jim Woolery, co-head of North American mergers and acquisitions business at JP Morgan, is leaving the company to work for law firm Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft, the investment bank's spokeswoman said.
Woolery will work at Cadwalader as deputy chairman, according to the law firm's spokeswoman. He was appointed to his position at JP Morgan with Chris Ventresca, who will now run the unit on his own.
He started working for JP Morgan in 2011 after serving for law company Cravath, Swaine & Moore as business partner.
JP Morgan is a global financial services company with a variety of businesses including research, finance, banking, investment and insurance.
