The Season 3 finale of 'Bates Motel' concluded with Norman running away from home after Norma told him that he had to seek professional assistance for his strange mental illness. What's more? Things became more complicated when Norman, who believes himself to be Norma, accused Bradley of causing trouble to her son. Norman/ Norma caught up and choked the escaping Bradley and smashed her head repeatedly into a rock until she was dead. After that, Norman finally snapped out of it and found out what Norma just did.
All of the questions after Season 3 ended will be answered in 'Bates Motel' Season 4. As for the renewal, A&E has yet to announce its premiere date. In fact, the network has already reported that the show will run for another 2 seasons with 10 episodes each. This means that the series finale will probably be in 2017.
