SHINee latest Update: Album comeback after two years; Seventh anniversary party and a loaded May schedule

KPOP Group SHINee is coming back to top the charts with its newest album entitled "Odd" which will be their fourth full length album after a series of releases in 2013 "Misconceptions Trilogy" and 5th mini album, "Everybody."

On the same year, SM Entertainment's only intact group containing five members with superb dancing skills, whose song "Lucifer" maintaining as YouTube's "Hardest Kpop Dance" and non-faltering harmony of voices, also joined the ranks of legends winning their first Daesang Award Artist of the Year in Melon Music Award on November 14, 2013. The album with their title track "Dream Girl" got fans weeping as the band got the recognition it deserved for its contirbution to the K-pop industry.

SHINee was away from the Korean music scene for two years as the group concentrated on their Japanese activities. The band got busy with their Japan Arena Tour, world tour, "Boy Meet U" album release and a few other singles such as "Boy Meet U", "Lucky Star", and their latest, "Your Number". The latest SHINee release skyrocketed in time for the group's widely celebrated first concert held at the Tokyo Dome and has attracted over 100,000 attendees in a span of two days.

SHINee's management, SM Entertainment, dropped the first teaser images and video clips a few days ago that had earned encouraging reactions and pleasant surprise from fans and critics alike.

The "Odd" album as random as it sounds, also has an equally intriguing title track called "View" which sounds like the lyricist and member Jonghyun who wrote the said song unconsciously picked from a scrabble board.

Although that may not be the case as Soompi revealed revealed that the Blue Night DJ who also wrote IU's "Gloomy Clock", junior EXO's "Playboy", and SHINee's ballad, "Symptoms". Jonghyun competed with 30 other professional writers and his song "View" won as the title track for SHINee. The song talks about the beauty of love in a sensual way which matches with the musicality of the song.

Meanwhile, the group's fanbase, SHINee World will have the pleasure of hearing the song first on May 15-17 at the Seoul Olympic Park Gymnastics Stadium during the SHINee World Concert IV.

As part of the promotion,SHINee members Onew and Minho recently announced the band's upcoming release in a recording of JTBC's variety talk show, "Abnormal Summit". The show is set to air on May 25th.

In addition, SM Entertainment will also hold an upcoming Seventh Anniversary Party for SHINee and SHINee World on May 25. It's also interesting to note that the group has gone past the five-year SM Entertainment curse where groups either disband or split.

SHINee's fourth full length "Odd" album contains 11 tracks that are yet to be revealed on May 18 on various music sites.
