After the success of the sci-fi flick "Lucy," which Scarlet Johansson starred in, comes another sci-fi movie by Luc Besson and the frontrunners for the stars of the film are Dane DeHaan and Cara Delevingne in the upcoming movie entitled "Valerian."

The 22-year-old model and actress was part of the first ever tweet of Luc Besson. In the statement he said: "My first tweet ever! Let's share a real news! My next film is a big sci-fi: #Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets." He added in his second tweet that the cast will include DeHaan and Delevingne. Besson also shared that they will start shooting the movie by December this year and it will be out in theatres by 2017.

According to a report, "Valerian" is a story that will feature a pair of galactic adventurers across the space. Besson will adapt the comics into a film and it will be called "Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets." The galactic adventurers will be played by DeHaan and Delevingne and it will focus on their missions across space. However, their home, which is earth, will then vanish so they have to be dependent on each other as they struggle to create new life.

Delevigne is set to star in many films such as "Suicide Squad," which is still in the works and is being shot. Meanwhile, her character as Margo in the movie "Paper Towns," a film adaptation of John Green's novel, will be shown in cinemas this July. For her role in the "Suicide Squad," she will play Enchantress in the movie based on the DC comic book series. The actress and model is also set to appear in the music video of Taylor Swift, which is "Bad Blood," that is set to be shown this Sunday during the Billboard Music Awards.

"Valerian" is the next project by Luc Besson after the successful "Lucy" last year. "Valerian" is set to hit the theatres sometime in 2017.
