Lorde recently revealed in her Tumblr post that she is working on a follow-up album of her 2013 "Pure Heroine" that debuted her career in the music industry. The star also talked about the inspiration behind her second album.

The "Royals" singer, Lorde, shared that she was inspired by the 2010 single of Robyn entitled "Dancing On My Own." The singer shared that she and her friends were in the studio a couple of days ago and they talked about that one song that if given the change, would send into space and live on forever. Songs from Nina Simone, Fleetwood Mac, and Talking Heads came up but she noted that Robyn's "Dancing On My Own" is perfect for her.

The singer added that "Dancing On My Own" is happy, sad, fiery, independent, and vulnerable all at the same time. She continued to praise the song noting that every line if perfect. Lorde shared that they put it on while at the studio and that's when she realized that she will be in love with music for the rest of her life noting that "it's going to be the most important friendship" she will ever have.

Lorde added, "First records are like meeting someone and feeling that need to do everything, just in case for whatever reason, you run out of time, or they stop feeling the same way as you. I feel much calmer, more comfortable in my love of doing this, and its apparent love of me, this time around. So there's that."

Meanwhile, Lorde is the latest additional to the wax figures of Madam Tussauds. The wax replica showed off her outfit during the 2015 Golden Globes and was unveiled in Los Angeles on May 13, Wednesday.

Her second album does not have an official name yet and has not announced any information regarding this matter.
