Perella Weinberg Partners today announced that Michael McGrath has joined the Firm as a Partner in its Asset Management business. Based in New York, Mr. McGrath will work with the Marketing Group and the portfolio management teams on product development, with a particular focus on growing the Firm’s presence in the private client market segment.
Mr. McGrath has more than 22 years of product management experience in the private wealth business. Prior to joining Perella Weinberg Partners, he was a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney and Global Head of the Alternative Investments Group. In this role he was responsible for developing strategy and building global alternative investment capabilities for the wealth management joint venture between Morgan Stanley and Smith Barney.
