Mission: Impossible 5: Rogue Nation vs James Bond: Spectre: Which Spy Movie Packs Serious Action Stunts?

By

Mission: Impossible 5: Rogue Nation is gearing up to be one of the highly anticipated movies this year. The spy film is packed with insane action scenes, some of which are crazier than the Dubai stunt from Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol. James Bond: Spectre also promises death defying stunts that pushes Daniel Craig's limits to the max.

Tom Cruise is reprising his role as Ethan Hunt for Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation and the spy's latest assignment sends him all over the world trying to evade IMF killers known as the Syndicate. It's no secret that the actor is notorious for performing his own stunts and he's already proven that there seems to be nothing he can do in Mission Impossible 5. But, however daring the actor may be, it doesn't mean that he doesn't get nervous when filming those action scenes. One of which is the Airbus sequence wherein the star hangs onto the side of the plane 5,000 feet in the air. Other highlights of the movie includes extremely dangerous motorcycle stunts and an underwater sequence that was filmed without a single cut.

Another spy film coming out latter part of this year is the James Bond movie Spectre starring Daniel Craig. Spectre is reportedly shaping up to have one of the best casts of all time and also features some exciting action sequences. While there isn't much information available at this time about the film's action sequences aside from the grand helicopter fight scene and a night-time car chase featuring Bond's new Aston Martin DB10, the Mission Impossible 5 stunts are looking to be crazier and more elaborate.

This latest installment to the Mission Impossible franchise, Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation, not only has a tremendous amount of action but also contains intrigue and storyline twists. The movie was written and directed by Christopher McQuarrie, who previously worked with Cruise on Jack Reacher and wrote the script for his film Edge of Tomorrow. The film also stars Jeremy Renner, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames, Alec Baldwin, Simon McBurney, Rebecca Ferguson and Sean Harris.

Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation will hit theaters this July while James Bond: Spectre Movie will premiere in the silver screen this November.
