The first official cast shots for "Hannibal's" third season has been released by NBC and fans are raving over them noting that the gory plot of the much-awaited comeback of the series is mixed with something classy.
The third season of "Hannibal" includes the now-series regular Gillian Anderson who plays the role as the bride of Dr. Hannibal Lecter, Bedelia du Maurier. Also present in the photos released are Zachary Quinto of "American Horror Story," Rutina Wesley of "True Blood," and Richard Armitage of "The Hobbit."
Other actors and actresses to be part of the third season of "Hannibal" are the characters from the previous seasons such as Hugh Dancy as Will Graham, Laurence Fishburne as Jack Crawford, Caroline Dhavernas as Alana Bloom, and Tao Okamato as Chiyoh.
According to a report, Hannibal Seaoson 3 Episode 1 will air on June 4 at 10 P.M. on NBC, it will be about the fates of the characters that have been in a major cliffhanger from season 2. It will also show the continuous psychological games played by the characters against each other.
The season finale for season 2 featured Hannibal, played by Mads Mikkelsen, escaping to Europe after his crimes were exposed. Season 3 will also feature Graham and Lecter facing off although it was not mentioned which part of the season will it be aired.
In a promotional video released in Korea, blood from Graham's eye was seen dropping to the ground and him riding a motorcycle then speeding off through a broken highway where there are a lot of weapons for murdering. It is more of symbolic than literal and there has been no official word from the producers of "Hannibal" regarding the Graham-Lecter face-off.
Aside from that, it has been revealed that a new character named Nina Arianda will be introduced to Graham and she will be his wife. However, this will be during the eighth episode of season 3 and it will be about how she will transform Graham's personal life.
