ISIS Releases Audio Message Allegedly From al-Baghdadi For The First Time In Months

By

Amidst the desperate global collaboration of putting a stop to the horrors ISIS have been constantly giving, a strong rebuttal from the group's leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi was issued last Thursday. ISIS issued a rare audio recording allegedly from its elusive leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, who had been staying off the grid for months now.

In the 35-minute audio message, the speaker who claims himself as Baghdadi advices the Muslims to either travel and join Islamic State also known as ISIS, or take up arms and fight in their home countries on their behalf as his battle is not ISIS' "war alone" to fight.

"Islam was never a religion of peace. Islam is the religion of fighting," he said. "No one should believe that the war that we are waging is the war of the Islamic State. It is the war of all Muslims, but the Islamic State is spearheading it. It is the war of Muslims against infidels."

Those choices are said to be a continuation of the Islamic State's demand for the solitary attacks which was voiced by their spokesperson before -a demand that had been supplied by numbers of its supporters in many countries like Australia, Canada and probably in Texas.

According to Baghdadi, "there is no excuse for any Muslim not to migrate to the Islamic State...or fight in his land wherever that may be."

Though this call of uprising is evidently startling, it is still not sure whether the voice behind the recording is really Baghdadi's. According to Frank Gardner, the voice in the audio was clear and assured, and the fact that it's a lengthy speech confirms that it is not from someone in failing health. Thus, if authentic, it can be considered to be Baghdadi's way of clearing the rumors of him severely wounded or almost dying.

The message was released on Thursday and came with translations in English, French, German, Russian and Turkish which seems to guarantee the message's maximum exposure.

Baghdadi has already released several recordings before but he only appeared in one video ever since. He is also reported to use a lot of aliases and wear bandana to conceal his identity from the public. With this, United States has offered $10 million for any information leading to Baghdadi's capture.
