The Blacklist season ender reveals 'new' Liz? Actress Megan Boone answers whether Liz is truly Red's daughter

By

The highest ranking (in terms of rating) American TV series The Blacklist continues to serve bone-chilling criminal hunting with Red, starred by Cannes best actor James Spader.

Now having its second season concluded, Red, who surrendered himself to the FBI in Washington, in return to an all-out immunity and companionship with the rookie Elizabeth Keen, who is played by Megan Boone, seemed to have been quite overstarred by the rookie herself, Keen, though at least as the story is concerned. It seemed like the series has now been focusing on Keen, most commonly known as 'Liz', and not Red.

While the series ended with its 22nd episode titled "Masha Rostova", where Liz has been framed up as a Russian spy, since her mother was also thought as one, by the Cabal, she seeks for help from Red in clearing her name. Though everything leads to her escape from the law which makes it more complicated for her, as she finds her real identity, and more specifically, her identity with Red.

Many fans have been searching for hints as to whether it's true that she is, in fact, Red's daughter. Since the mysterious would-be patriarchal relationship of the two leaves the fans continuously questioning. And actress Megan Boone didn't approve the claims, nor did she deny it.

In an interview yesterday with The Wall Street Journal, Boone revealed some hints as to whether it's true. When asked if she knows whether Liz is Red's father, Boone replied with, "I do...and so will everyone else."

She also added that viewers will definitely find out the truth real soon.

And while we wait for such truths finally come tumbling out, Season 3 is coming next. While the premiere for the next season is still announced, the actress is just preparing for all the stronger, 'new' Liz.
