Lenovo A7000 is the Chinese company's take on a mid-range smartphone with competitive features along with Alcatel Flash and Huawei Honor 4C. All three are expected to compete with the promising market share in Asia.

Google has launched several smartphone models in its bid to extend internet access with as many people as possible. Other companies such as Lenovo and Alcatel also recognize the huge market potential in Asia.

Lenovo A700 was recently launched at MWC as its budget phone aimed at the mid-range market while Alcatel introduced its Alcatel Flash that will be exclusively distributed by an Asian online store Lazada. These two companies might have taken a lesson or two from a well-known Asian market leader Xiaomi.
