After the controversial leak of the "Batman vs Superman: Dawn Of Justice" trailer, Warner Bros execs must have profoundly buried all the spoilers regarding the film, however, as the premiere is forthcoming, it looks like that must be pointless as a rumor that Doomsday will be playing as a villain in the movie has proliferated across the Web recently. It is speculated that he will be accompanying Lex Luthor to wreak some havoc.
It was previously reported that Lex Author, played by Jesse Eisenberg, will be a major addition to the "Batman vs Superman: Dawn Of Justice," as he will be playing one of the villains. Similarly, a conjecture by astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson has also been well-known as he told that Superman will be the villain in the film. Though, it looks like it doesn't end there as Heroic Hollywood's super-scooper and former Latino Review reporter Umberto Gonzalez, also known as El Mayimbe, dropped a major spoiler that Doomsday will be an addition to the drama.
The news came at the Shanilan on Batman podcast where El Mayimbe confirmed the rumors. "It's been out there, but it's official. We are going to see Doomsday," the reporter stressed. He explained that Doomsday will be Lex Luthor's muscle, or the one that causes physical threat. On the other hand, Jesse Eisenberg's character will be the main villain. And while Lex Luthor is the main antihero in the film, it doesn't mean that he's a good match to the two lead heroes, and that's why he needs Doomsday.
Moreover, Heroic Hollywood's Umberto Gonzalez also compared Lex Luthor as the Grand Moff Tarkin in the original "Star Wars," as they are both villains. While Darth Vader is the main villain, he is more considered as the muscle, and the role will be Doomsday's in the upcoming Batman vs Superman movie. Meanwhile, it was showed in the latest trailer of the flick that there is a "Tell me... do you bleed" portion, and Gonzalez likewise claimed that it is only a dream sequence. Though, it is unknown who is having the said dream.
Furthermore, as much as Doomsday's appearance can be a saving grace for DC's universe and films, Warner Bros and DC haven't made any confirmation about this revelation by Gonzalez. It is also not known who will be playing Doomsday's character, despite the stretching rumors.
Zack Snyder's "Batman vs Superman: Dawn Of Justice" is slated to release on March 25, 2016. It includes a stellar cast such as Ben Affleck (Batman), Henry Cavill (Superman), Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman), Jason Momoa (Aquaman), and among others.
