Until Dawn is an upcoming PS4 title from Supermassive Games which will bring a lot of horror and intense gameplay to those tough enough to try it out. It will be supported by major technology in graphics which will make every moment feel as lifelike as can be.
The story of Until Dawn entails eight friends who are trapped on a mountain retreat as matters eventually take a frightening turn. With the suspense and rush happening to each of the characters, decisions have to be made, altering the course of the story at every choice.
Apart from having great graphics, the horror game is made more believable through portrayals from a number of Hollywood actors and actresses such as Hayden Panettiere from Nashville and Heroes. With each of the eight characters being playable and decisions the player makes to determine how the story pans out, it will be an unpredictable ride.
In relation to this sense of independence, choice mechanics are laid out well, in addition to the "Butterfly-Effect Interface." According to WCCFTech, these will help players see the consequences of their actions no matter how small they seem at first.
Until Dawn will combine the capabilities of the Killzone Shadowfall Engine and the PS4 to really bring the plot and character performances to life.
Considering that a few other titles from Sony have already been deferred, which includes Ratchet & Clank and Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, Until Dawn is a title that stands strong by keeping up with its 2015 release. A report from HardcoreGamer says that the release date is on June 24, 2015. However, this is just a rumor and hence, should be backed up by more updates, particularly during the E3.
Until Dawn is set to be a hit horror, choice-driven game from Supermassive Games. With Graham Reznick and Larry Fessenden, writers and filmmakers in the appropriate genre, this game will not disappoint.
