It has been nearly two years since Miley Cyrus released her "Bangerz" album, which featured 16 songs including her hit singles, "We Can't Stop" and "Wrecking Ball." The 22-year-old singer hinted that she has been working in the studio every single day for her new album. Will the album come out in 2015?
Miley Cyrus broke free from her Hannah Montana image following the release of her album, "Bangerz" in 2013 and "Can't Be Tamed" in 2010. Her latest album scored several hits and awards including a nomination for "Best Pop Vocal Album" at the 2015 Grammys. Fans kept wondering if Cyrus would be releasing a new album following the release of two new singles, "Tiger Dreams" and a song dedicated to her dead blowfish, Pablow.
While some people may think that a song dedicated to a dead blowfish totally makes no sense, Entertainment Weekly noted that the song is actually record-worthy and called it "pretty fantastic." The song received mixed comments from fans, with some surprisingly liking the song and others believing that Cyrus needed to seek professional help.
Cyrus also debuted a new single, "Tiger Dreams" at the Adult Swim's annual Upfront party on Wednesday, May 13. The song is said to be a collaboration between Cyrus and Flaming Lips. The "Party in the USA" singer also sang her rendition of Johnny Cash and Led Zeppelin songs, Fox News reported.
Meanwhile, Cyrus previously hinted that a new album is currently in the works. Speaking with ET, Cyrus said that she is still trying to figure out which songs will be included in her new album. "Just when I think I have my record done, something new happens where I want to write about it. I just, I don't know what I want to go out there," Cyrus admitted.
Cyrus also revealed that she has been working in the studio every day in hopes of releasing her new album as soon as possible. The "When I Look At You" singer also acknowledged the fact that her fans have been waiting for a new album to come out and hinted that they have already started working on the album earlier this year.
