The "Dragon Ball Super TV Series" will not be available till July but a manga adaptation of the upcoming series is already slated for August. The success of the "Dragon Ball" franchise continues to dominate the movies, television, comic books as well as toys and other merchandise for almost two decades. More surprised and exciting announcements are expected as the release of the "Dragon Ball Super TV series" draws near.
The "Dragon Ball Super" television series will get a manga adaptation and will be released in the July issue of Shueisha's V Jump magazine according to Toyotaro. Akira Toriyama, the original creator of the "Dragon Ball" series will be the one responsible for the manga's original plot. He is also currently involved in the screenplay and script of the "Dragon Ball Super" TV series. No official statements about the plot of the movie will go but it will most likely follow that of the events after the defeat of Majin Buu as reported earlier.
The "Dragon Ball Super" TV series will be aired on Fuji TV and other channels in Japan on July every Sunday at 9 in the morning. Several reports claim that Toei Animation is pushing for 100-200 episodes for the TV series. The number of chapters will be most likely adapted in the manga series to be released on August this year. An initial 100 episodes is already planned for production but is going as far as 200 if a tremendous following will be created from the followers of the series. Fuji TV's producer Osamu Nozaki has already received a plot from Akira Toriyama and is ecstatic with how the series will go.
Meanwhile the "Dragon Ball Z: Fukkatsu No F" continues to dominate Japanese cinemas. Funimation is already creating English-sub titles for the film for a scheduled release in the US this coming summer. The movie is expected to break records after topping last year's "Dragon Ball: Battle God" movie.
As of the moment, fans are excited for the release of the "Dragon Ball Super" TV series. The manga adaptation on the other hand will add up to the numerous collectibles and memorabilia related to the "Dragon Ball" franchise.
