"The Flash" season 1 is set to release its final episode this week and as early as now, actress Danielle Panabaker is already hinting about her major transformation in the sophomore season.
According to the actress, her transformation from Caitlin Snow to supervillain Killer Frost no longer came as a surprise to her because the idea has always been planted in her head. In a recent Reddit AMA, the "Justified" actress said, "Yes, from the beginning I knew that Caitlin Snow becomes Killer Frost. And I can't wait to suit up and duke it out with the boys!"
During a separate interview with Blastr, Panabaker also revealed that she has been working closely with the creators of "The Flash" in preparation for her eventual transformation.
"It's been planted in my head that we're headed towards Killer Frost and I have an idea of it, but I try to be truthful and take her on this journey so hopefully you'll understand when she gets to that point, why she got there," she said at that time.
Meanwhile, Carlos Valdes, who plays the role of Cisco Ramon, will also have a major transformation in the finale episode of "The Flash." Cisco will transition to his superhero alter ego named Vibe, a character that can travel to different dimensions and timelines without experiencing difficulties, Christian Today noted.
In a separate interview with Comic Book, Valdes said that towards the end of season 1, fans can expect that some major questions about Vibe's history will finally be answered.
"I can tease that fans can expect some big questions about the Vibe mythology to be answered in the next episode, the season finale here," he said.
"The Flash" will air its final episode entitled, "Fast Enough" on May 19. The second season of the CW series will premiere in the fall.
