Popular South Korean girl group A Pink is set to release another single in Japan and will be heading off to said country this month for album promotions and interviews.
According to A Cube Entertainment, A Pink will be releasing their third Korean single "Luv", as part of their new single album in Japan this month. The song was a huge success in Korea when it was first released last November, so it's bound to be as immensely popular overseas.
Their third single album entitled "Luv" will include Japanese versions of the group's singles 'Luv' and 'Good Morning Baby' and is scheduled for release on May 20. As part of promotions for the new Japanese single, A Pink will heading off to Tokyo, Sapporo, Okayama and Osaka for album release events and press interviews. The group will also appear on NHK's show Music Japan scheduled to air by end of this month.
Earlier this year, the famous girl group appeared in the Korean edition of Cosmopolitan magazine where they showed off their refreshing looks while dressed in pastel and black colored outfits. Included in that January issue was an interview where A Pink talked about their first meeting which occurred five years ago on Valentine's Day, along with interesting stories after making their debut, how they relieve stress while they are backstage and planned performance schedules.
A Pink held a successful first solo concert entitled "Pink Paradise" at the Olympic Hall in Seoul on January 30 and January 31. All 7,200 concert tickets were sold out within two minutes after ticket sales were launched. The 6-member girl group also brought their "Pink Paradise" concert in Singapore where they performed for 3,500 fans last March 22 at The Max Pavilion.
It has been 4 years since A Pink was formed and since then the group has released a total of five Korean extended plays and one studio album. The group gained immense popularity in Japan where their second Japanese single 'Mr. Chu' which was released on February 18, was ranked second on Japan's Oricon Daily Album charts. A Pink also won the Disk Bonsang and Best Female Group Performance at the Golden Disk Awards held last January 15.
