Jodi Arias' murder case made her infamous. Yes, many firmly think that she is really a devious person, capable of killing her ex-boyfriend. However, there are few people who believe that she is innocent and a victim of domestic violence. Her supporters even created websites dedicated for her and a facebook page where they could send all their sentiments. To date, are they able to speak with Arias?
In the past months, there were a lot of news stating that Jodi Arias made a lot of phone calls with her fans. Some of them are not even legal to make calls. Apparently, Travis Alexander's killer taught them to create fake IDs so that they could continue their chitchats behind bars. The regular visitors on the other hand are said to be Arias' arms in her social networking sites. Of course, this didn't last long and authorities busted this. Hence, she is now banned from having phone calls brought by violating a number of prison rules.
We can't say that her supporters are crazy. Perhaps, they have their own personal experience with domestic violence and that Arias' story matches with theirs. However, the killing per se shouldn't be tolerated. Most of her fans are too young and too gullible, they might think that slashing one's throat is fine as long as you are a victim of a so called 'domestic' abuse.
Because of the popularity of the case, there are some speculations that Jodi Arias' life will be told in another book. For sure, a lot of people would buy that regardless if they are supporters or not. If this will materialize, what would be the content of the manuscript? The danger is, Arias will have more funds now and others fear that she might use it to gain more supporters.
To date, only few updates are known about Jodi Arias' condition. After giving her life imprisonment, her life behind bars seemed a bit quiet. Only her small cell and mug shot made it to the news. Until she makes another noise inside the jail, the media is sure to get that scoop.
