"Outlander" is wrapping up with only one episode left to mark the end of the first season. The time traveller series has received overwhelming support from fans, making it no surprise that the show has been renewed for season 2. The series is adapted from Diana Gabaldon's eight book series and the second season will cover her second book in the series titled, "Dragonfly in Amber."
Book fans of Gabaldon's series are very well aware that the second book introduces several new characters including fan favorites like Brianna Randall and Roger Wakefield. Fans began wondering which actor and actress will be cast for the respective roles. While showrunner Ron Moore and the rest of the cast are mum about details on new cast members in "Outlander," the showrunner previously revealed that the actress who will play Brianna needs to be close to Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan) and Claire Randall (Caitriona Balfe).
Meanwhile, fans already have several actors and actresses in mind to play the role of Roger and Brianna. According to Zap2It, "Doctor Who" actress Karen Gillan and "Downton Abbey" star Rose Leslie are at the top of the list of actresses to play Brianna.
