As fans are speculating of what will happen in AMC's "Better Call Saul" Season 2 set for release on February 2016, Bob Odenkirk who plays Jimmy McGill shares some light on what's next for his character. Creators Peter Gould and Vince Gilligan are currently brainstorming along with other writers for "Better Call Saul" season 2.
AMC's "Better Call Saul" season one has been a successful spin-off of "Breaking Bad", so much so that the cable network green lighted another season. The writers of the well-known "Breaking Bad" series are at the same time writing for the newly made series, "Better Call Saul". The show has been tight-lipped of what fans would expect on its season two, but Bob Odenkirk who plays Saul Goodman or Jimmy McGill, lead character of the show, shares some light on what happens to his character.
"I don't know what's going to happen, but based on the very brief and very general conversations I've had with Vince and Peter, I think Jimmy's got some ups coming his way and some good times, which could be fun to watch," Odenkirk shares in an interview.
What we only know right now is that the writers along with Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould, creators of "Breaking Bad", are collaborating on coming up with brilliant new episodes for the show's season 2. Gilligan shares that "Better Call Saul" is very much a work in progress. Meanwhile, Gould said in an interview that Jimmy's statement in Season 1 that he would never let trying to do the right thing get in his way again, could still have some "ways to go" before he totally embraces being a nefarious person.
"Better Call Saul" is about Saul Goodman (Odenkirk) a troubled lawyer who is struggling using his real name as Jimmy McGill in Albuquerque, New Mexico. "Better Call Saul" season one has gathered praises from viewers and critics alike. Odenkirk received a nomination for Best Actor in a Drama Series category of the 5th Critics' Choice Television Awards. "Better Call Saul" set the record for gaining the highest rate in the history of basic cable broadcasting, and an average of 6.9 million viewers overall.
We are still on the look-out for more spoilers on season 2 of "Better Call Saul" to be released in February 2016. So stay tuned for more updates!
