From the guys that developed game franchises like Civilizations, Borderlands, NBA 2K series, Bioshock and WWE comes another game which are riling up fan hype. 2K games is now teasing its new dystopian future game called "Advent" and many are already excited at what it is all about.
2K games went to viral marketing practicing by unveiling the new game on twitter with a rather gloomy GIF attachement. The show clip show a city skyline of today and abruptly turning into a scene of devastation.
2K games are still not divulging any clear information on the details of this new game but interested gamers are being directed to their curious website called "AdventFuture". Information posted on the website tell of a technology that is offered to people to free themselves from hunger, sickness and even uncurable mental illnesses.
Game critics are also agreeing that "Advent" is the previously announced, unnamed 2K games triple A title in the works.
"Throughout the coming year, we will continue to execute our proven strategy of launching a select array of the highest-quality titles, led by new annual releases of NBA 2K and WWE 2K; Battleborn, a groundbreaking new intellectual property from Gearbox Software," 2K games said earlier this month on their quarterly earnings call.
"a soon-to-be announced new triple-A title from 2K" is coming as well. The published added which is now agreed by many to be Advent.
Though the game is still not fully revealed, many speculations have been made as to what kind of game it is. Some gamers think of another bioshock like genre, while others are turning their eyes on a Deus Ex like theme. Though speculations are rampant on the internet, 2K Games is famous for delivering memorable stories and gameplay, especially exemplified with the Bioshock series that fans are optimistic over this new title. Many are expected 2K Games to continue trickling in information on this new game in the coming weeks and hopefully be included in this year's E3 2015 event come June.
