Now, 'Longmire' is getting closer to its Season 4 premiere on Netflix, which is rumored to air in the fall this year. Adhering to Netflix's system of streaming TV series, all the 10 episodes of season four will be available for viewing at the date of release.
In a recent interview, 'Longmire' book series author Craig Johnson recently revealed his happiness when Netflix picked up the TV show. The author expressed his gratitude to the generous network Netflix for picking up the 4th season of 'Longmire', after A&E cancelled it.
He also expressed his gratefulness for the support of the viewers, who fight the comeback of the show. They are the reason why the show is back on the air.

Meanwhile, the 'Friday Night Lights' alum Derek Phillips reprises his role for the coming season. The confirmation went out through Twitter by a tweet with a photo posted by the actor himself.

Phillips also tagged his co-star Louanne Stephens with the #FNLreunion. Both of them were part of 'Friday Night Lights'. In response to the photo, Stephens played Grandma Saracen replied, "See you in a minute!!!"
The cast and crew of Longmire are nearing the end of production on the 10-episode fourth season in New Mexico. 'Longmire' season 4 is expected to be released in the fall on Netflix.
