Recent sightings of pop singer Katy Perry with John Mayer convey that the two are back in each other's arms. The two were first spotted at the recent Super Bowl afterparty. Recently, John and Katy were seen with close friends enjoying the rides in Disneyland, Anaheim, California.
A few months ago, fans of the "Mannequin" and "Roar" singer thought she had something serious going on with EDM artist Diplo. Katy & Diplo were seen spending much time together after last year's Coachella annual festival, around the time the pop princess has been quoted as saying she'd like to live in the present rather than be torn up about the past or mulling about the future.
Indeed, as her "Self-Inflicted" lyrics go, Katy's heart is "still wide open" and John Mayer remains in it. Well, famous celebrity duos rekindling their romance is nothing new. Both Katy and John are in their 30s, yet they can't seem to make up their minds on their relationship. The on again-off again-on again couple gravitated back into each other's arms at the start of 2015.
The two parted ways for the nth time in February last year. Some of the reported causes of rift between the two lovebirds were John's alleged infidelity and demand for attention, and Katy Perry having a very busy schedule & trust issues with John. To date, the couple seem happy in love again and even bracing to take their relationship to the next level.
Katy was married to comedian Russell Brand. It was a short-lived one. To date, the only thing he has in common with Katy is that they both have lived a dizzyingly hectic work schedule in recent years. Katy has slammed reports in social media about a text from Russell about their divorce. It was an old report that was taken out of context and re-used, she said. Russell Brand, nonetheless, had been quoted as expressing praise for Katy's halftime Super Bowl performance a few months ago.
