Are you ready to see Superman in Fifty Shades Darker possibly going full frontal, while in a hot Bondage and Discipline, Dominance and Submission, and Sadism and Masochism sex scenes? If that's s,o then the latest round of rumors is a treat.
According to NewsEveryday, British Henry Cavill is linked to the "Fifty Shades Darker" movie. Rumors are making rounds that Cavill is eyed to play Jack Hyde, the boss of Anastasia Steele played by Dakota Johnson.
Cavill will be up against actors Jai Courtney, Shawn Ashmore, Wes Bentley, and Aaron Taylor-Johnson for the role of Hyde for the next Fifty Shades film. The same report points out that if Cavill indeed gets casted as Hyde, there might not be a good transition from playing Superman from "Batman v. Superman Dawn of Justice" to the boss of Steele in "Fifty Shades Darker." But all speculations aside, fans would love to see the British actor play the role.
"Fifty Shades Darker" will be released in February 2017, while "Fifty Shades Freed" will be on February 2018. The second installment of the film adaptation of the hit novel revolves around how Steele tries to continue her normal life weeks after where she and Christian Grey played by Jamie Dornan left things off in the first movie.
She finds a job in a publication company. There, Steele meets her boss Hyde, who instantly falls for her. While trying to fix her relationship with Grey, she explores new options. She realizes that a submissive relationship is not for her.
There are still no official directors announced for the project, with Fifty Shades of Grey director Sam Taylor-Johnson leaving the franchise. There are rumors that the books' author herself E.L. James is interested to work as the director. Universal Studios is hesitant to have her direct the sequel, which according to the producers will have a darker theme.
If Cavill will really play the secondary handsome character then that would make the game to Miss Anastasia's heart more interesting.
