Screencrush reports that WB and DC will show a Wonder Woman who is hundreds of years old. This means that there is no truth to the feared speculation about the new film using the new 52 origin story, which makes the super heroin a demigod daughter of Zeus.
According to International Business Times, Gal Gadot will play the role of Wonder Woman in the "Batman Vs. Superman Dawn of Justice," set to be released on March 23, 2016. IBT reported that Gal Gadot will also star in stand-alone Wonder Woman movies.
The first solo film will be directed by Patty Jenkins and will bring the story to the hero's Amazonian homeland, where war is brewing among different factions of the region. There are rumors that the solo Wonder Woman movies will combine the classic and the New 52 versions of the hero. Important hints about the Amazonian superhero will be seen in the upcoming "Batman Vs. Chris Pine is rumored to co-star and bring on the romance with Gal Gadot in the independent Wonder Woman films.
