Game of Thrones Season 5 Spoilers: Possible deaths that even readers of the book won't see coming, George R.R. Martin claims TV producers more violent than he is

In Game of Thrones Season 5, deaths of major characters may not necessarily be the same as what fans have read in the novels. Prepare for spoilers of great magnitude!

Die hard fans may have read George RR Martin's "A Dance with the Dragons" novel and have an idea on who will die for this season, but it is evident in the past seasons that the TV show doesn't necessarily follow the book.

International Business Times claims that fans who have read the Game of Thrones books may still be shocked and are in the dark as the viewers who haven't read the novel when it comes to which characters will die next.

WinterIsComing.com even quoted Martin saying, "People are going to die who don't die in the books, so even the book readers will be unhappy." He even warned viewers, "So everybody better be on their toes," because the Game of Thrones TV Series co-creators David Beniodd and D.B. Weiss are "even bloodier than I am."

Fans know that death among beloved and important characters is common in GOT. So, here is a list of the possible deaths that would certainly shock fans:

  • Tryion Lannister. There were hints that an event more shocking than the Red Wedding will happen. This could probably be the death of the popular character, The Imp.
  • Jon Snow. He died in the book. This could also happen in the TV series to shock the audience. Plus he appeared in some premieres earlier this year with a shorter haircut, flaming fans speculation that Jon snow won't be in the 6th Season.
  • Jaime Lannister. He visited Dorn and was captured. With only one functional hand, he might not survive.
  • Brienne of Tarth. WhatCulture claims that she may die in this Game of Thrones season 5, because even if she won two swordfights, the third might not be very favorable for her.
  • Cersei Lannister. She is in another vicious rivalry, now with Margaery Tyrell. GOT usually resolves these rivalries by killing off one of the contenders.
  • Margaery Tyrell. The men who have a crush on Margaery might be shocked when Cersei wins that rivalry.

Game of Thrones Season 5 finale Mother's Mercy will air on the 14th of June 2015. It will only be by then that fans will know who's to die.
