Castle's Stana Katic who plays the role of Detective Kate Beckett did not sign up for Castle Season 8. Abruptly writing out Beckett to have the season 8 go a different tune without the detective. A lot of series-followers are wondering, what would the Castle Season 8 be like without Kate Beckett?
A plan B, is what seems to be lured by now by the writers. Given that it would be another mountain to climb and another sea to be deepen, it will be a totally different show for the Castle Season 8. Fundamentally, it would take a different turn from Season 7.
Stana Katnic with her co-star Nathan Fillion's contracts have expired by the end of Castle Season 7. News have circulated that the partnership of the two is considered done before entering the Castle Season 8. Truth be told, Stana Katic did not re-signed for another Castle season and left fans wondering how the new season will go.
Though this might be an advantage or disadvantage for the whole set, the series-followers are looking forward to seeing the Castle Season 8 in a whole new light and if they can sustain the twist of the series through introducing new characters and the like.
Katic, recently married her long time boyfriend Kris Brkljac late April of this year. Her recent marriage has been a basis by the fans why she did not sign up for another Castle season. Andrew Marlowe and Tina Edda Miller, creators of Castle, got a big of a challenge introducing its season 8 without their main characters.
Though the Castle is not yet out of the system, it would be an uphill battle for its creators to tap the expectation of the viewers especially with Richard Castle (Nathan Fillion) and Kate Beckett (Stana Katic).
