Lindsay Lohan gets new projects? Actress off from 6-year probation

By

Mean Girls star Lindsay Lohan finally off of probation for the first time after more than 7 years. The actress recently finished her 125-hour community service which was ordered by the court after her 2012 reckless driving case.

Superior Court Judge Mark Young ended Lohan's probation after she volunteered in Brooklyn's Duffield Children Center and in a LGBT youth center. Lohan was able to beat her May 28 deadline, after she reportedly spent more than 8 hours in her volunteer work, and did it for more than 2 weeks. Her community service work was reportedly a part of her punishment after her Porsche slammed a dump truck, while she was on her way to the movie set of "Liz and Dick".

Lohan's attorney, Shawn Holley said that she's pleased with Lohan's performance in her community work, "Not only did she complete all of the hours, but reports from both of the places where she did her work, have nothing buy high praise for her," she said "She worked really hard, she worked 11- and 12-hour days. They have nothing but good things to say, and I am just so pleased." the lawyer added.

Lohan expressed her gratitude on social media as she tweeted a photo with her statement saying:

"I am very grateful to those at Brooklyn Community Services, Duffield and The Ali Forney Center for welcoming me into their services and allowing me to finish my court ordered Community Service hours.

Thank you to Shawn and everyone involved for having faith in me and supporting me in getting the job done.

I look forward to working with The Ali Forney Center and BCS in the future. Thank you for the inspiration. Clean slate. Fresh start. Bless.

When asked whether her client will go back to acting now that she finally resolved all her cases, "absolutely" Holley said.

Alongside the reckless driving case, Lohan also faced drunken driving and drug case, and a theft case. It took 54 hearings, which 20 of them she attended, handled by 10 judges, and trips to jail 5 times, before the cases were resolved.
