EXO releases new album “Love Me Right” without Kris, Luhan; Tao confirms resignation?

The most popular K-Pop boy group nowadays EXO will be releasing its repackaged album following the success its March full-length album "Exodus."

The album entitled "Love me right" will also be the title track and will contain four new songs in addition to the previous tracks released in "Exodus" although the upcoming repackaged will not have as many versions as the latter which had 20 versions in Korean and Chinese combined.

"Exodus" broke many records, with physical sales running one million, and even becoming the highest ranked K-pop male band on the U.S. Billboard 200 Albums Chart.

With popularity getting wider, it seems that "Love me right" will follow the footsteps of its parent album because as soon as the repackaged album was announced, it has crashed the servers of Korean music store Synnara with overwhelming number visitors who visited the site to preorder the album.

Meanwhile, as the sales and popularity of EXO goes up per release, the number of members leaving also increases. This album marks the point in the lifetime of EXO as a boyband with nine members promoting from the originally 12 ones.

EXO-M member Tao's absence in the repackaged album has spiked up the rumors that he is leaving the group although nothing official has been announced yet since SM Entertainment made a statement that they were having discussions with his father who first posted on Weibo wanting his son to leave the group.

Some of the signs of him getting farther from EXO have started to feel more tangible when he slowly began removing all association with the group from his SNS accounts, changing the way he wrote his signature, and ultimately leaving for the U.S. to receive treatment for his injuries and to study.

Just like former members Kris (Wu Yifan) and Luhan, Tao is still legally under SM Entertainment although the three Chinese members are not currently promoting with the group. Presently, only Lay is the Chinese left in EXO-M.

EXO's repackaged album "Love me right" will be released June third on various music sites. The title track is said to be a bright dance track with funky rhythm suited for the summer weather.
