Though Asus might be deemed as a smaller player in the mobile phone industry, many are still anticipating for the release of the Asus Zenfone 3.

According to International Business Times, there was an unannounced Asus smartphone that is speculated to be the much awaited Zenfone 3 on the recent website of China's TENAA or Telecommunication Equipment Certification Center.

Most techies have the assumption that since the Zenfone 2 was launched this year, the Zenfone 3 will be launched early next year. So what will the Asus Zenfone 3 be like? Below are the most credible theories:

The Ordoh online tech news has leaked that the upcoming Asus smart phone will have a dual SIM feature and will have a whooping 5.0 inch IPS display. This is good enough for the resolution which will be at 1280 x 720 pixels. Also, the screen protection is great because it's a Gorilla Glass 3. The processor is a 64-bit Quad Core, Mali GPU, and will be operated by Android 5.0 Lollipop.

Ecumenical News also reported that the camera will be a powerful 8 MP with a LED Flash for taking much better pictures. An HDR mode and 5 MP snapper are also some fantastic features that are currently rumored to be in the Asus Zenfone 3's camera. The internal memory is at 16 GB, and it can be expended to 32 GB.

Asus' success on the Zenfone 2 was phenomenal and a huge part of this success is the advanced features that come with the phone. So there are some rumors that the Zenfone 3 will have fingerprint recognition as well as a biometric scanning technology. It also offers different internet connectivity features and has Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi and 3G.

There are also some speculations that the metal build of the Zenfone 3 will be at 5.66 x 2.81 x 0.42 inches. It is said to weigh at 145 grams. There will be seven colors to choose from - black, silver, white, gold, red, purple and blue.
