Sleepy Hollow's John Noble will be a regular cast as CBS TV series Elementary starts its Season 4. Noble will portray as the father of Sherlock Holmes who was never seen in the previous seasons. His role will play an important part as the season returns.
In Elementary Season 4 , John Noble is the rich estranged father of Sherlock Holmes. It can be remembered that in the previous seasons, Sherlock's dad was the one who pushed that the investigator, a former drug addict, undergo drug rehabilitation. Noble's character also hired Dr. Joan Watson to be his son's companion and to help him in his rehabilitation,who eventually becomes his partner in crime investigation.

Variety reports that in the new season's debut, Noble arrives in New York City to face his son's recent relapse into addiction. Creator Robert Doherty was quoted as saying that John Noble plays a significant role especially between the characters of Sherlock and Dr. Watson, which will make Season 4 more exciting.
Noble's performance in the past were noted which includes TV series Fringe as well as guest roles in 24, The Good Wife, Forever. Among the movies he made were Lord of the Rings:The Two Towers and Lord of the Rings; The Return of the King where he plays as Denethor.
TV Line added that John Noble's role as Dad will be a bit complicated with his son as the two try to reunite. Viewers will have a lot to look forward to in the father and son relationship.
Meanwhile, John Noble took his gratitude and excitement on Twitter on his new project. "Thanks for all the support. This is a great show, great cast and great writers. It will be a wonderful new challenge. Can't wait," he said.
According to CBS, Elementary centers on detective Sherlock Holmes played by John Lee Miller and his partner Dr. Watson played by Lucy Liu as they investigate on crimes that the NYPD finds hard to solve. Among the cast are Aidan Quinn and Jon Michael Hill.
Elementary Season 4 airs this coming fall on CBS every Thursday at 10pm.
