"Fear the Walking Dead" show creator Robert Kirkman recently teased the upcoming first season of the AMC series. Around the same time, photos featuring some characters from the series were also released online.
In one of the photos, Alicia (Alycia Debnam-Carey) and Matt (Maestro Harrell) were photographed kissing and hugging each other. At first glance, it seems that their relationship is perfect and peaceful. However, as Kirkman previously revealed, Alicia and Matt's relationship is nothing close to ideal.
Additionally, Alicia may seem like everyone's model daughter but her brother, Nick (Frank Dillane) is nothing like her. The two will have a love-hate relationship in the series because while Alicia will be trying her best to be good at everything, her brother will be screwing things up for her, according to Entertainment Weekly.
Kirkman also talked about Madison (Kim Dickens), the mother of Alicia. According to him, Madison's character will be interesting because her husband died and she was left with the task to take care of their children.
The show creator hinted that Madison's strength could make it easier for her to adapt to the changes that will occur when the zombie apocalypse begins.
In a second photo, Madison's boyfriend Travis (Cliff Curtis) was featured with a concerned look on his face. While he was talking on the phone, Madison was photographed looking and standing beside him.
According to Kirkman, Travis is the type of guy who is deeply invested in his relationship with Madison. However, Travis' past can be dubbed as dark and his secrets will be revealed in the upcoming episodes in season 1, Collider reported.
"Fear the Walking Dead" also stars Lorenzo James Henrie as Chris, Elizabeth Rodrigues as Liza, Ruben Blades as Daniel and Mercedes Anderson as Ofelia, Comic Book noted.
The AMC series is set to premiere on the network this coming August.
