The "Fifty Shades of Grey" is having another sequel told from Christian Grey's point of view. E.L James, the writer of the popular erotic romance novel announced the new book series to be released on June 18. The book will be titled "Grey" which explores the subconscious mind of the main character, Christian Grey.
In an interview by The Guardian, James said that "Grey" will be answering the most common questions of the readers about Christian's character. She wants to show that there are always two sides of the story. E.L James is happy to be writing again on the Fifty Shades book series.
On the first page of "Grey", she wrote a dedication for the fans who always ask to read the story from a different perspective.
Her publisher, Arrow, mentioned that Christian's character is all about controlling all aspect of his life. Christian Grey always wants to make things perfect, without flaws or hint of imperfection until he met Anastasia Steele. People have so many questions about why he chooses her, why he keeps remembering her, or what are the special traits of Anastasia that carries his emotion.
According Selina Walker who is the current editor of the book, that "Grey" still contains the same addictive elements just like the trilogy. She even felt the thrill after she found out that the new book is about Christian Grey talking.
For the Fifty Shades Darker, there are two new names added in the list of characters. Recent report shows that Oscar winning actress Charlize Theron and British Fashion model, Cara Delevingne already signed a contract. We should expect to see them at the sequel of Fifty Shades of Grey.
Lately, we see the appearances of Delevingne in some minor roles from films like Enchantress and the upcoming movie, Suicide Squad. We are not yet sure but it seems like she will act as the Leila William in the story who is one of Christian's submissive before he met Anastasia Steele. We will surely wait for the scene she will be playing.
For Theron, who has been into different movies, she got the role of Elena Lincoln who is the dominant mentor of Grey when he was still young. Grey referred to her in the Fifty Shades of Grey as "Mrs. Robinson". We can remember from the first movie that he revealed to Steele that he is having a contact with her though they no longer have the contract for "dominant-submissive" relationship.
A longer list of characters in Fifty Shades Darker is expected to be revealed shortly. Currently, they are having a problem with the director, Sam Taylor-Johnson who quit from the project after the rumors of misunderstanding with the Fifty Shades Spinoff Novel and trilogy author, E.L. James.
