Fans are hyped to receive the latest news that Dragon Age: Inquisition'story-based DLC is under development and arriving at some future time, Bioware head has revealed via Twitter.
The developer's Creative Director Mike Laidlaw has confirmed that a new story-based DLC for Dragon Age Inquisition is in the works following the release of the first major story and single player expansion, Jaws of Hakkon, initially to Xbox One in March and to PS4, PS3 and Xbox 360 a couple of weeks ago.
"The past three days have been filled with that weird intensity that makes game dev kind of addictive. It's a rush when things come together," tweets Laidlaw, adding that Bioware is "not quite done with story content for DAI just yet" when asked by a game enthusiast regarding progress on Mass Effect 4 game.
Such details appeared to be scarce at this point but he made one thing clear for the fans, though, that Dragon Age: Origin's protagonist, Hero of Ferelden, will not be included in the next Dragon Age Inquisition story-based DLC.
Dragon Age Inquisition first major story and single player DLC titled Jaws of Hakkon has just been made available on May 26 to non-Xbox One platforms.
Another great news is that Electronic Arts has announced cross-buy support for Dragon Age: Inquisition's DLC. This means that gamers can make a one-time purchase of the game's expansion and gain access on both PlayStation and Microsoft's last-gen and current-gen systems but limited to a console family restriction.
Those who have availed of Jaws of Hakkon DLC will be the first to benefit from this offering where those who got the DLC on PS3 will earn free access on PS4 and same goes for Xbox 360 on Xbox One.
Early last month, fans had also received free Dragon Age Inquisition Dragonslayer multi-player DLC and Black Emporium Update from Bioware.
