The NBA 2K16 Cover Stars are already in the know - all three of them. There have been slight discrepancies from previous rumors, but the ones being reported and showcased in social media have verged consistently on three top players. A special game mode of the 2K title also gets the confirmation that Director of He Got Game, Spike Lee is very much involved in it.
The first one to grace the cover of this year's basketball game would be James Harden, who plays as a guard for the Houston Rockets. The second one would be Anthony Davis of the New Orleans Pelicans.
Last but not the least would be Steph Curry, the reigning NBA MVP playing for the Golden State Warriors. The last one went head on with LeBron James as well as the Cleveland Cavaliers, as mentioned in a report from a dedicated games website.
When it comes to the NBA 2K16 Cover Stars, several photos have already been leaked. Some of these could also be seen on Twitter. While there have been prior reports on which players would be included, some of them had an inconsistency of saying Kevin Durant was in it instead of Anthony Davis.
NBA 2K16 will feature MyCareer mode, which is where Spike Lee plays a part. When the director had an interview with USA Today, he said that the said mode will "follow a kid through the trials and tribulations of being a top high school player and the decisions he has to make." In taking on this, a 90-minute "cinematic narrative" was also shot. The storyline of this footage would then be translated into actual gameplay.
The NBA 2K16 Cover Stars definitely deserve the recognition for the upcoming basketball video game from 2K Sports. The title will be playable across different consoles - PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, as well as the PC. The release date would be on September 29 this year.
