Fans eagerly awaiting for the premiere of "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" movie have been given a glimpse of the superheroes' official costumes.
A few weeks ago, director Zack Snyder and Warner Bros have given fans a sneak peek of what they can expect when it comes to production design of the highly anticipated movie. However, as Cinema Blend pointed out, the grainy snapshots failed to give justice to Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman's gear. Thankfully, much clearer images of the costume have started circulating online.
Coming Soon was able to take photos of the costumes of the cast of the "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" movie which was displayed at the Licensing Expo 2015 in Las Vegas.
Based on the photos, it seems like Ben Affleck (Bruce Wayne) will be wearing a gray and black Batman suit. This is especially interesting given that most of the previous costumes were in black or dark blue.
Cinema Blend also reported that there were some changes in Superman's costume, although it might not seem as noticeable. It was said that his new suit was a lighter shade of blue, the shade of red, however, stayed the same. The "S" shield was also reportedly "more angular" and "curved" in comparison to the suit he wore in "Man of Steel."
On the other hand, there is definite change in the new Wonder Woman costume as compared to the first image released last year. It was mentioned that her new suit, designed by Snyder and costume designer Michael Wilkinson, looked "less like a superhero costume." Gal Gadot (Diana of Themyscira) was said to be wearing several different outfits, including a cape, during the "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" movie.
"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is set to hit theatres on March 25, 2016.
